GRAMMYs 2013: Style Report

This Girl is on Fire!
Rihanna and Natasha Bedingfield played the red card at the (also red) carpet. Between a sea of Black choices, these amazing performers rose the stake setting the night on fire. The Barbados beauty looked stunning in a see through, geometrical gown, and the English blonde showed off a little skin in her cut-out, two layered, gorgeous dress.

Shine a Light
Taylor Swift and Alexa Chung are two of the most relevant contemporary style icons. For the Grammys, they took their lady appeal to a whole different level, relying on light colors. The young singer dazzled in a Greek inspired, ivory, pleated J. Mendel, while charming Alexa looked ultra chic in a 50s like, pale yellow, Valentino number.

Green is the Colour
Florence Welch made her appearance in a liquid green, spike detailed Givenchy gown, and Katy Perry shocked the paparazzis in an aquamarine green, silhouette embracing Gucci dress. Even though their looks were completely opposite, they had one thing in common: it was just too much (too matchy matchy, and too much skin).

Shine Bright Like a Diamond
Carrie Underwood and Carly Rae Jepsen chose Roberto Cavalli to shake the carpet. Their mermaid textured gowns were as bright as diamonds, maybe so bright we were blinded by their similarity (¿?).

The Final Cut
Alicia Keys, Kelly Osbourne and their smart choices: the R&B artist wore an Azzedine Alaia, bodice textured, cut-out dress, while the purple hair fashionista wore an enhancing, also cut-out, Paule Ka black gown. They definitely know what they have, and how to work it!
